We and 3 of our hounds had a fantastic week in Pembroke staying at this well appointed cottage. Will suggest some of the following that would benefit your stay;-Local eateries Kings Arms, The Rose (Fri Sat eve only so book), Watermans and Gio Recchia Pizza.-Pubs Royal Oak (pool and Pippin), Hope Inn (afternoon small cinema, piano), Kings Hotel-Pembroke history trail, see booklet in drawer, Barafundle beach £7 parking and cafe, Freshwater East beach (cheaper parking), Broad Haven and Haroldson Woods walk (£4.00 parking). Check out the book in the drawer for more walks.-Cottage, hot tub great and is checked daily so access required, heating great, kitchen everything you need although need more storage space for own food.-TVs in all areas and rooms, bigger one needed in main room, all en suite.-Baby gate available, outside electric sockets, plastic glasses all sizes-Great local dog walks around mill pond or the common via Gooses Lane-Parking next to property, along road or opposite in small car park, never a problem, good wifi. Welcome pack for humans and dogs plus dog bowls

We had a wonderful week at Blacksmiths Cottage in Pembroke. Every little detail has been considered in the property. The kitchen is full of everything you would need should you wish to cook which is not always the case as we have discovered in other properties. The decor is modern and comfortable. The property was clean and well presented. All rooms beautifully decorated and with plenty of storage and cupboard space. Pembroke itself had all the local amenities you would need and is a good base to see the beautiful countryside and coastlines of Pembrokeshire. We were apprehensive of the parking as the property does not have its own parking space, which was not clear on the properties original details, however, with a couple of free car parks close by and roadside parking in certain places we were able to park without issue throughout the holiday. Would definitely recommend this property and may well consider returning without the family to the smaller property.
