Virginia Cottage Reviews

Sean
Extremely well situated Cottage this is our 2nd stay here , spacious and value for money a great base for local tourism (eg Whitby and Scarborough Moors) Hot Tub a great add on
Anthony
great location, comfortable, well equipped
Wayne
Great location but, cottage requires modernising, very tired furniture, and outside decking area, downstairs toilet cannot be sat on, too close to a wall, no control of heating if you require it adjusted you have to message the owner, lots of laminated notes around the property some quite passive aggressive. Garden is not secure or pet friendly, one of the laminated notes requests your furry friends are not to use the garden but the pavement outside the property. Parking on road outside, always very busy and if parked in private parking area gate cannot be shut. Rusty radiators, very bad mould on tiles and shower screen in ensuite bathroom.
Michael
The cottage was absolutely perfect. It's super close to everything cool about Thornton le Dale. I would definitely stay here again.
Martyn
Very comfortable and well equipped cottage that was spotlessly clean. Ideally positioned in a perfect location for exploring the area and surrounds. Very friendly and useful local facilities on the doorstep in the village and also in nearby Pickering. York city and places of interest including the coast in easy reach.
Chris
Ideal location to explore the Yorkshire coast. Whitby excellent fish and chips. Local bakery very good.
Nicky
Absolutely beautiful place, set in an idyllic village. Cosy and comfortable.
Alan
The cottage is full of character, spacious and well equipped. The location is ideal for visiting attractions in the area.
Anthony
V comfortable, Great location and garden. Friendly helpful owner. Excellent electric shower main bathroom.. Choice of 7 tables for breakfast if weather fine.
Sandra
Cottage was very spacious and a lovely garden and hot tub. It would benefit from a gate or some sort of barrier at the top near the garage so dogs are completely safe. The owner was very obliging in sorting a couple of issues.
Tim
What a beautiful cottage in a perfect location.
