A little slice of heaven. We had an amazing stay. Perfection location, and beautiful property, and kitted out with everything we needed to ensure our stay was comfortable. Loved the hot tub, perfect after a busy day out and about. I cant believe how close we were to things, yet still felt in the middle of nowhere. We will be doing a return visit, so impressed.

What a beautiful cottage, in a lovely setting. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for a break away. A very extensive welcome pack was supplied, which was a lovely touch. A radio in the cottage would have been the icing on the cake. The bedrooms were very comfortable with ample storage space. The local pubs were very welcoming and the food was extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved spending time in the hot tub in the evening after a day out with the gorgeous views. The location was perfect for us to travel to York and the East coast. No washing machine which was totally an oversight on my part as one wasn't listed, but it would have made it perfect. Would definitely recommend the property however. The Old Dog House cottage was an absolutely delightful place to make a base and explore Yorkshire. Everything inside is complete to a very high standard, very clean and tidy really good communication with the owner and absolutely going back there at some point. A really wonderful family break and having such a lovely cottage to go back to at the end of each day really was the icing on the cake!
Lovely property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Claire was very helpful and provided a welcome pack of fooddrinks, which was much appreciated, when we arrived. Hot tub was lovely with fab views of surrounding area, very relaxing. Pizza oven is no longer in use unfortunately but not a huge problem for us. Would recommend to those who are looking for a relaxing getaway.
