We loved spending time in the hot tub in the evening after a day out with the gorgeous views. The location was perfect for us to travel to York and the East coast. Had a brilliant week in 'The Old Dog House'! House was comfortable, super clean & really lovely! No washing machine which was totally an oversight on my part as one wasn't listed, but it would have made it perfect. Would definitely recommend the property however. Such a beautiful, spacious and peaceful property but still within a short drive of everything you might need. Kept myself, my teenage twins and our little dog happy Would certainly recommend and have rebooked for Easter next year !

The Old Dog House cottage was an absolutely delightful place to make a base and explore Yorkshire. Everything inside is complete to a very high standard, very clean and tidy really good communication with the owner and absolutely going back there at some point. A really wonderful family break and having such a lovely cottage to go back to at the end of each day really was the icing on the cake!
Lovely property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Claire was very helpful and provided a welcome pack of fooddrinks, which was much appreciated, when we arrived. Hot tub was lovely with fab views of surrounding area, very relaxing. Pizza oven is no longer in use unfortunately but not a huge problem for us. Would recommend to those who are looking for a relaxing getaway.
