Bridlington Bay House Reviews

Joanbe
We loved staying and will definitely recommend it to other people in the future
We stayed at bridlington bay house for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. 10 adults and 11 children. The house was huge with a large living room, dining room and gameschill room. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and tidy on arrival and had everything we needed. The hottub was brilliant. The only downside for us was there could have been some extra outdoor chairs to accommodate more people and a toilet on the ground floor. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. The owners from the next door property was telling us how they always have trouble with the guests at bridlington bay as all their guests can here people running up and down the stairs all the time so can we keep quiet. This made us feel a little uneasy as we'd only just arrived at the property and was worried about having a large family. On departure he came out and told us he heard people going up and down the stairs, to which I told him there was 21 people in the house that was walking up and down the stairs as and when needed. No one was playing on the stairs or anything. I feel like this could put people off returning in the future although we know we wasn't loud it was just general day to day noise from that amount of people. Overall we had a brilliant stay. Great house, great location and great communication from skyes cottages aswell. Would reccomend.
One of the showers didnt drain properly on the first floor and the pressure was a little bit rubbish.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend family get together. The property had everything we needed and was warm and comfortable . The hot tub was a bonus for the youngsters. Even the weather was great !!!!!
Brilliant stay everything was fantastic but a few of the mattresses needed updating
We had a great family time in Bridlington. The property is minutes from the beach, fun fair and swimming baths. Aldi is a few minutes drive away. The property is huge, very good for big families. It's pretty dated bar the kitchen and the shower on the first floor doesn't heat up. Most of the shower rooms could do with an upgrade and a good scrub but we managed. The patio garden is small and in need of a good power wash and weeds pulling up, only 4 seats outside so I'd definitely take some deck chairs with you if you want to all sit out. It's very residential so no privacy. Julie the house manager was extremely helpful and very approachable. All in all if you get it at a good price it's worth the money for all the space the kids loved it. We would probably return as we had a great 4 days.

The property as listed was accurate and to our requirements. The place was welcoming and presentable. Size of the property suitable for large families. It was clean and tidy. The location to all attractions were close by as well as shops. Bridlington is a nice place to visit and a must to visit. Bridlington South Beach is an awesome place to visit. Highly recommended. Perfect location for a nice holiday break. The hot tub was a perfect feature and something to relax you during the holiday break. A place I would go back to if a holiday is planned for the northeast. Please note Saffron Resturant Bridlington is a halal place to go to for food.
The space of the property itself was excellent for our needs, all rooms and bedrooms were a great size. And the location was great, close to the beach. Cleanliness of the rooms was good too. There were some issues with the showers in the first floor ensuits. The shower in the bedroom on the first floor at the back of the house was either scalding hot or freezing cold, which was my parent's room and they are in their 70's. We would love to come again and stay longer but not getting a hot shower puts us off unfortunately. The cooker did not work as 2 fuses had blown, but someone came out to us within the hour and fixed the problem.
Absolutely amazing house with everything you need Spotlessly clean , hot tub ... Absolutely amazing house with everything you need Spotlessly clean , hot tub amazing and kids games room was a bonus Will definitely be back next year

Actually this holiday home is superb. Everything perfect but only one day night fire alarmed beeped so many times. Apart from this everything perfect and well maintained. Looking forward to book in summer . Thank you
The place was great, there were a couple of showers on the first floor that were iffy and it would have been good to know which colour bin for which item. Generally though we had a great stay and really loved the place and the location is great.
Pauline
