Clean and in a quiet, peaceful area. Local amenities are not really within walking distance but not long to drive to. This wasn’t a problem for us as we like out of the way places but just so people are aware. The Park and Ride is really useful to visit York City. WiFi signal great. Well set up around the rooms so lots of thought put into the experience.

Accommodation was clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great location to explore North Yorkshire. Lovely welcome pack on arrival with home made jam, biscuits and bread. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day. Hosts were very welcoming and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Cass Lodge for a week. We arrived to homemade shortbread and a locally baked loaf and fresh jam, which was a lovely touch. We received a warm welcome from Helen and had many good chats! The lodge was very clean and well furnished with everything you could want, a real home from home. We were perfectly placed for York, Thirsk etc and Easingwold was lovely and close to have a stroll round and have a leisurely coffee, although you would need to drive or cycle there… The hot tub was lovely, so relaxing looking over the open fields. We would love to go back.
