Perfect for exploring both the coast and moorland easily. We also found some cracking places to eat-best fish and chips at Magpie's Cafe in Whitbyand for a bit more fancy, Estbek House and The Homestead were great picks. Definitely a good spot to relax and unwind!

This place has a fantastic location that's just perfect for escaping from it all! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need, plus a few nice extras. We really enjoyed the hot tub and then just chilling in front of the fire. There are lovely pubs close by for mealsand we can definitely recommend the 3 Jolly Sailors for a meal that's cooked to excellent standards, reminding you of what your gran would have made. And honestly, the portions are massive! If you want time to relax and unwind, this is a brilliant spot to stay.

This was our second stay, truly like a home from home. A beautifully appointed cottage in such peace and tranquility, so relaxing yet close to all the popular east coast area.
