After a day of exploring, soak those tired muscles in your private hot tub. Glass of wine optional but highly recommended!

The accommodation is surprisingly spacious. There's a mezzanine double bedroom, another double and a twin - comfortably sleeping six people. The ground floor bathroom has both bath and shower. The kitchen/diner has everything you need: electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. The sitting room features a cosy woodburner - perfect for those chillier evenings.

Absolutely beautiful place. It had everything needed for our holiday, no shortage of anything. Loved the dining table, perfect for playing family holiday games. Garden is great for kids, wonderful views, and a large hot tub. There is a large picnic table for outdoor eating and enjoying the weather. Maybe some comfy garden chairs could be added as us older generation could do with back support after long days out! It was a lovely place to stay, great location and would highly recommend it.

Lovely place to stay. Only one criticism, it really needs another toilet. There were 6 of us and quite often someone would be waiting to use the loo. Also, if someone was having a bath or shower, same problem. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable. Would be nice to have a welcome pack consisting of more than 1 small pack of biscuits and a pint of milk.

We had everything we needed. Stairs might need a little fix as one creaked quite loudly and moved when you stepped on it.

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Wish we'd booked for longer. The pictures are amazing but don't do it justice. Huge back garden for the kids to play in whilst we were in the hot tub taking in the incredible views. The accommodation was huge with 3 fantastic bedrooms. A huge living room which was lovely for us all to sit in on an evening. Will definitely be returning.

We had a 3 night stay with our two girls and we all loved it the photos dont really do the size of the place any justice the location is great and being out in the coast and country its a short drive to anywhere. We will definitely make a return visit but maybe in the summer when the nights are longer so we can make good use of the outdoor space. Thank you.

The Hayloft was just perfect, spacious for the 6 of us. Kitchen was well equipped and great to have a washing machine and dishwasher. The hot tub was such a great addition for the evenings to chill together and chat. Nice to have the garden to play as well. Location great for exploring the North Yorkshire Coast, a car is needed as the location is rural but lovely as so peaceful.My only suggestion would be to have another toilet, there were many occasions where the children were crossed legged!! A great holiday, would definitely recommend.

Amazing property, stunning views. Central location for places of interest and some lovely pubs for food. Didnt want to come home! Only comment which may be a little petty, one of the kids dropped a piece of jewellery on the settee. Whilst rummaging between and behind cushions to retrieve was a little disappointed to come across a very large accumulation of crumbs and other bits, never a good feeling plunging hands into the unknown, this was a little shocking. One good swipe of a hoover nozzle would clear this.

Wonderful cottage which is even more spacious that it looks on the photos. The location is so peaceful yet driving to the nearest towns of Whitby and Scarborough was not difficult. A lovely cottage in a beautiful rural setting. Comfortable beds, nicely furnished and the log burner added extra charm on an evening. The kitchen had everything you need, plenty of cutlery and crockery but if you are planning on making a casserole etc, take your own larger pans. The hot tub was a good size and serviced daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Having stayed at Hayloft for 3 nights 15th to 18th Sept we have absolutely loved this accommodation and the location. We could not fault same. The accommodation is so lovely, well equipped and cosy. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with views , all the more made better with the fab weather we had. The location is ideal for walking to Haybeck Wyke one way and Robin Hoods Bay the other, and further afield if you so desire. We have all stated we would book here again and are looking to do so. Would highly recommend this property.

Had an amazing time at Hayloft. It's a fantastic cottage in a great location, perfect for walking along the coast to Robin Hood's Bay, and very short drive to Whitby and Scarborough. The cottage itself is perfect, with a fantastic hot tub to unwind after a day's walking. We group of 6 had a brilliant time. Fully stocked kitchen, and wonderful dining table meant we could cook full meals and enjoy them together in the evening. Lovely large living room with log burner we didn't need to use, and plenty of comfy seating for us all. Three immaculate bedrooms, comfy beds, provided a good night's sleep. Can't speak highly enough and will definitely return again for a third time.

Lovely Barn with home comforts. Lovely location on a farm which was nice to see the horses each day. Fantastic views from the garden, kitchen and hot tub across the fields. So quiet and relaxing too. Plenty of parking, nice walks starting at the bottom of the garden which was a bonus. Good quality facilities. Some people may want a 2nd bathroom as barn sleeps 6 as there's plenty of space for one, but it was fine for us. All in all we would definitely recommend Hayloft.

Hayloft is in a beautiful setting and so close to many places and has a huge garden. The house was clean and well looked after and having the hot tub was great. There is only one bathroom in the property, which for the 4 of us it was fine but as it sleeps 6 this might not be so good. I advised to Ben the owner that the bathroom needs some shelf space as there was only the sink to pop toothbrushes on and it was a squeeze and also pop something in the shower to hold shampoo ect, he did welcome the feedback. Hubby loved the bed, but for me it was too firm but thats something that cant suit everyone. All in all a lovely barn, in a lovely setting and we would return. We really enjoyed our stay at the hayloft. This is probably the best holiday home we have stayed in so far. The hayloft is much better than the pictures, we were not disappointed. It was a really relaxing break for 3 adults and a baby, a great base to go visiting during the day. If we ever come back to the moors we will stay agian. The new heating installed was easy to use, really warm and a first for us. All the renovations they have completed are top notch. Just book now!

Beautiful throughly enjoyed

Fantastic stay with our parents and children between Christmas and New Year! Barn is better than the photos show. It is very homely and cosy and we didnt want to go home. Hot tub is fab with beautiful views but definitely could be enhanced with a roof of sorts to protect from the windrain. Log burner was wonderful, bedrooms comfortable, lovely farmhouse style kitchen could do with extra serving dishes, pizza cutterfull cheese grater and other utensils you may use for making quick food whilst away. We went to the Hayburn Wyke Inn for food which was very cosy on a wintery day. Scarborough was a seaside treat. Would definitely return without a second thought. Go on and book!

We decided to stay here for a long weekend, we took our 1 year old daughter and we absolutely loved it, we would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a break in the countryside with a small child, or any age child. Theres plenty of animals and a big garden. Theres an open fire which at first I was worried about with my little girl being so into everything but the living room is huge and spacious enough that theres no reason to be near the fire. We will definitely be returning. We are frequent long weekend away type people and this is by far the best place weve stayed. Owners are a delight as well as friendly 1010 in every way possible

Fantastic week at hayloft. Felt like home from the minute we arrived with a little welcome pack for us. Cottage was very clean and tidy. No problems at all. Kids loved the hot tub adults didn't really get to enjoy the peace and quiet lol. Plenty of things to do in the area. Wish we had booked another week as didn't want to leave. This property could be fantastic. The views are spectacular in an amazing location. Its potential could be made better by the following Get a new TV and upgrade your Sky box. Why are all the plates chipped in the kitchen? This is a health hazard and chipped plates should be thrown away. The frying pan was shocking and had to be thrown. The patio doors in the living room did not lock and the whole thing was loose. When the wind blew it was a little noisy for the two sleeping above the lounge. Having a holiday home is an investment and I would recommend that you put some investment back into it. Otherwise we had a great stay. David
