The Shippon is a three-bedroom stone cottage on a working sheep farm in the Wharfe Valley, Yorkshire. The River Wharfe is just 200 metres across the meadows. Barden Bridge is close by giving direct access to the Dales Way. The Strid woodland and Bolton Abbey priory ruins are within three miles. This is serious walking country.

The nearest rail station is Skipton, which is served by regular trains from Leeds and Bradford. From Skipton station a taxi or local bus will take you into the Wharfe Valley towards Barden.
