We went for 5 days and 4 nights if was so peaceful and quiet. Everything was very clean and tidy and a nice distance away from everything would definitely book again.

Overall had a great time but the road in is extremely rough and not suitable for low cars, cottage has a dishwasher but seeing as its only a 2 person cottage its not really necessary but a washing machine would have been better as we were there for 7 nights.

Lovely little cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen for making meals. It is a working farm so can be quite noisy early in a morning, but that being said we didn't need an alarm for beach days we went during August 25 heatwave so had glorious weather and I was up early enough to read a book at the outside table in the sunshine with a brew before my daughter woke up, so the noise wasn't an issue for us. The view was stunning! We took advantage of the private hottub which was well maintained by the owners and was huge! A morning dip, or a dip in the evening after a long day at the beach with the jets on was fabulous! We also enjoyed a stunning evening meal and a couple if cocktails at a pub called The Plough, which is only 8mins in the car away from the cottage. We would definitely return!

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage on a working farm, super quiet and peaceful and a good nights sleep on a really comfortable bed, lots of walking and cycling to be had from the doorstep with the added bonus of returning to a private hot tub to recover from the days activities! Great location for us, well away from the crowds with only the countryside animals for company but close enough for a quick drive to great food pubs and the beach at Scarborough North bay. Didnt use to hot tub as felt a little closed in, would have possibly been better with bifold doors on to open up fully but looked clean and hot. great stay and will consider again.

Went to the Cottage march 2025 for a long weekend lovely small cottage kitchen down stairs and bedroom living room an bath room all together up stairs looked nice and clean kitchen was good practically every thing you want shower had all mould in side round the base toilet seat was stained yellow needs a new one and big cobwebs from ceiling up stairs hot tub was secluded but after day 2 we were itching our skin of kept showering but didn't bother going in again my costume got bleech marks on it husband checked the flooting capsule it had 4 tablets in it to many chemicals

The cottage, was faultless extremely clean and very inviting. We had a fabulous stay, the location was perfect out the way, but near enough to Scarborough and surrounding villages. The cottage, had everything that we needed kitchen cleaning equipment, pots and pans, plenty of cups and glasses. There was an information pack, that provided information regarding the cottage and things to do.. The bed was extremely comfy and had a 3 brilliant nights sleep. The hot tub, was the icing on the cake. It was hidden in the little barn at the front of the cottage, the views were breathtaking. Would definitely recommend, and visit again.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The cottage is perfect for a couple of nights stay. Picturesque views from the windows, our dog loved watching the sheep we even caught a glimpse into farm life when the farmers were moving the sheep. Hot tub was fab, we loved the little fairy lights inside and the window out to the fields. Something that the pictures are missing maybe they were taken before these improvements were made 1 the patio is now fenced off, which meant we could have the door open and our dog could be in and out as she pleased. 2 there is also a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs which meant our dog could be downstairs after a muddy walk and we didnt have to worry about her bringing any muck upstairs. Just brilliant all round, would definitely recommend.

From pulling up to Hawthorn cottage, myself and my granddaughter were made to feel at home and were even allowed into the cottage early as it had been cleaned. The cottage was spotless, well equipped and extremely comfy. I booked an indoor hot tub as the weather had been dreadfull prior to arriving and typically we had lovely weather during our stay. We stayed for 2 nights but wished we had booked for longer, would highly recommend!

Was nice and quiet, could hear the sheep every now and then but it was nice to hear them! Property owners were friendly but also kept their distance which was nice. The propertys drive was quite bumpy but didnt cause any issues for us. Wow! We have just arrived home from a long weekend at hawthorn cottage and I can honestly say this was one of the best weekends Ive had! Absolutely beautiful cottage, the location is amazing! The cottage is based on a farm with the view of sheep opposite! My little puppy loved watching them and even tried to go join them. Thankfully the owner Chris managed to catch her which we are so grateful for! We have visited a variety of lodges cottages in the last few years and we often find theyre out the way and we dont have much to do, but not this place! 15 min drive from Scarborough seafront which was amazing, so much to do around, we also visited a filey farm and Whitby! We are already looking to go again, just perfect! The cottage was actually a lot more spacious than I anticipated too, which was a bonus. The hot tub was lovely and it even has a little window you can open to see the beautiful view whilst relaxing. We really thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and I cant wait to visit again! What a weekend
