Caravan was clean but very basic in comparison to others I have stayed in. The hot tub wasn't covered as it showed in photo's. Next to a very busy road !!!! Very noisy !!!!

On arrival there was a welcome little bottles of wine and a few chocolates. Some hand wash washing up liquid and tea towel this was nice.This was a very nice touch. The bedding and towels all were immaculate.The hot tub was amazing. Front door could do with a mat to wipe feet on entering.No grab rail on the steps going up to the lodge. No lighting on decking area or around the hot tub area. Motion lights for safety of getting in and out of the hot tub. (Just a thought)Steps felt not balanced on the stones making the steps wobbly and unsafe to get and out of hot tub. There was a light outside it didn’t work. Says clearly there’s a TV in bedroom but wasn’t the case not one in either bedroom. The light in bathroom and extraction fan were both not working. (We were only staying 2 nights so addressed the issue by text after we left. Time was precious and didn’t want to waste waiting for this to be resolved. In the double room there was lots of empty boxes and a fire extinguisher in a sealed box which probably should have been positioned in kitchen.There was no fire blanket. There was no instructions about fire evacuation procedures. The lodge felt like it been hired out only partially completed.We enjoyed our break. I would return these were pointers I just wanted to outline.
