The Hubby and I booked a break away to Whitby to celebrate our 10 year Wedding Anniversary. Whitby is amazing! Full of things to do with a great history. The Abbey is a must! The cottage was great! It was easy to find with the instructions to find/access provided in the email received two weeks prior to arrival. It was clean and it smelt clean too. Someone had cleaned it right before we arrived. The cottage is in a fabulous position to get to the heart of the town, harbour and Abbey. The hot tub was brilliant, it was in its own little private snug. The temperature in the evenings dipped outside and was unseasonably cold, however, the hot tub was hot and it was pleasant to be in, at all times of the day. The view from the garden balcony both night and day was fabulous. We would visit again and would book the cottage again too. The only recommendation I would make to the owner is to provide keys to the other external door, as the route down to the town is quicker this way. You can go out the door as it is lockable/unlockable internally but have no keys to lock it externally and leave that way.
