We have just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at Routhorpe House to celebrate my partners 40th Birthday. Perfect house, fab location. Everything provided you can need. The house is well looked after as is the spectacular garden and hot tub. Lots of games for the kids, who have had the best time. Highly recommend. This house is a great find and great value for money.
The facilities were lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was regularly maintained. The ice maker was well used. Everything you could need is there. The kitchen was a good size for everyone gathering together and spilling outside, garden was a good size and plenty of parking The Prosecco and cake for our joint birthday celebrations was a lovely touch and appreciated. Sandra had been helpful in answering our questions before our trip and we chatted to Carl on his visits to maintain the hot tub.
Our stay at this property was excellent . Ten close friends each year spending a weekend away in carefully chosen surroundings . Routhorpe House is perfect for this . It's also in a lovely part of the country Carl & Craig are great hosts , Carl was on hand to deal with a couple of minor queries as he came to maintain the hot tub during our stay . The curry we purchased in advance was ready in the fridge on our arrival and was well received . A perfect accompaniment for our murder mystery evening . I would recommend this property to anyone and would not hesitate to book the property in the future . Communication with the hosts was second to none . The house we found to be spotlessly clean , don't get me wrong , it's a well used house but it's kitted out with quality furnishings and appliances . Thanks again ..

Fantastic property finished to a very high spec. House was very clean and had everything we needed re kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Lots of space. Owners contacted us beforehand to see if they could help in any way, they reconfigured some beds for us before arrival and were available to answer a couple of questions. Booked again!!!!

We had a most enjoyable week in Routhorpe. The house was spacious and very comfortable. Carl and Kevin, the owners were kind and most helpful. Unable to walk the wolds as much as we hoped, we loved our visits to Kirkburn Church, Beverley Minster and Burton Agnes. One small misleading description on the website the groundfloor bedroom is not ensuite as the bathroom is outside and is shared by the other groundfloor bedroom. We shall certainly recommend Routhorpe to our friends.

A Stunning 'HomefromHome' in Beautiful Yorkshire Countryside! We needed a house with 5 bedrooms and at least 2 ensuites, and found this gem just 5 miles from Driffield, the home of my oldest friend and her family. This is a truly outstanding house that has been so thoughtfully decorated and furnished, it feels just like a home. It is also the most well appointed house we have ever stayed in we hosted a BBQ for our Driffield friends and there was enough cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils... even cake stands! The kitchen is better equipped than my own! The beds, sofas and even dining chairs are fabulously comfortable. There is enough space for everyone to be together in every room, but also enough different spaces for people to chill on their own or in smaller groups. The garden is stunning! So beautifully kept, lovely flowers and shrubs, and even a play area for our small visitors to play. Garden games and indoor games are provided, a hot tub for lazy afternoons and great social space for BBQs and gatherings. I can honestly say that I would buy this house tomorrow and not want to change a thing! I have never said that about a holiday let before, but it really is THAT special. The owners are SOOO helpful too, I would thoroughly recommend this gorgeous house.

Absolutely beautiful house. Spacious and well equipped. The owners offer not only a fabulous stay but a brochure of extra treats , we opted for the in house chef and party pamper. Both were amazing. Our pamper lady was very patience and worked her magic on a bunch of stressful working mums. The in house chef Claire was wonderful and the food was delicious, the service first class. Would highly recommend using this service. This was our third year going away and our first time to Routhorpe Hall we certainly felt like we got it 100 right this time. There isnt anything negative to say but to note you are just off a country road so expect the odd noise of a motorbike whizzing by. But when youre facing fields and cows its very peaceful and tranquil.
We had a wonderful stay at Routhorpe House. The house was well presented, spacious and clean. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, along with the complimentary toiletries. Carl, the owner, was friendly and extremely quick to respond to any queries. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of crockery, pans and glassware also acrylicware for outdoor use. We stayed at Routhorpe house for my hen do. Perfect from start to finish. Correspondence from the owner was spot on, I even received a courtesy call the day before we checked in to wish us a nice stay. Lovely touch. The house and grounds are just beautiful. Tastefully decorated, clean, brilliant little touches to cater for all your requirements. It has everything you could possibly need for a party, a family stay or friends reunion. Loved the Elemis shower gel after the jacuzzi . My hen do exceeded any of my expectations. It was beyond amazing ! Some of us have not seen each other for 25 years, to sit round the table with champagne and share our most treasured memories was so very special. Yoga in the garden and a top notch girls party till the early hours. This house catered for it all ! We are coming back for our reunion next year. Absolutely amazing stay with group of girl friends! Would definitely come back had everything we needed! We went into Beverly which was a 20 min drive but could have easily stayed at the house all weekend with the great edition of the hot tub!
We spent 4 days at Routhorpe House as a family party of 10 and had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious and children made great use of the spa pool. All facilities were provided for cooking for 10 although we had a lovely breakfast one morning at the nearby 'quirky' Wolds Village.

Amazing Stay We stayed for the weekend for our Fathers 80th birthday. What a fantastic house for us to get together they had thought of everything. The facilities were fantastic and the house itself was extremely clean and comfortable. The owners were so helpful and responded quickly to all our questions nothing was too much bother. I cannot recommend this house enough we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful Christmas break at Routhorpe House. The house was decorated beautifully and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble and Carl was a very friendly and helpful host. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our trips out and about. The town of Beverley is only a short drive away and well worth a visit as well as the many coastal areas. The kitchen is great with all appliances and equipment. We had no difficulties preparing Christmas dinner for 10! Thank you!

Fabulous few days spent at Routhorpe House. House was beautiful,there is plenty of parking. The house has everything you need, kitchenutility facilities excellent with so many utensils cups glasses bowls pans etc. Cleaning products provided, handsoap, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, kitchen towels everything you might need. The cleanliness of the house on arrival was great could not fault this at all, house smelt lovely. Love the fact that there are 4 bathrooms to 5 bedrooms and special touch elemis products in every bathroom. Due to the weather we did not get chance to use the outside areas but there is plenty of outside space. Lots of gamessports equipment available for those drier days. Great location and easy to get to, 40 or so mins from York so great for a day out. Plenty of local pubs nearby, ate at the star inn very friendly staff and beautiful food. So pleased with our stay that we immediately booked for next year! Thank you

Absolutely spectacular stay. The house was lovely, modern, clean and had a warm family feeling. There were 10 of us with a new born baby, and every one of us including baby felt comfortable and relaxed especially with the jaccuzi. Sandra and Carl ensured requested arrangements were completed such as having our requested curry dinners ready on arrival. Which was delectable! We had a room with a king size bed swapped into a twin. We had massages booked for 8 people, and the massouse was truly amazing and prices were so reasonable!! Routhorpe House was a beautiful and very well maintained home. It had all the amenities we wanted and more. The hot tub was a treat after trips out too. Weve just come back from a wonderful week at Routhorpe house. It is the most beautiful and well equipped house we have ever stayed in, and has everything you could possibly need for your holiday. Like previous reviews have stated, the kitchen is amazing and has the facilitiesequipment to cook a 3 course meal if you so wish. The house was exceptionally clean and well looked after. A lovely welcome pack was provided, with Prosecco, milk, coffee pods, tea etc, a lovely touch and the Prosecco was a great way to start our week thank you! I would definitely recommend this house to large families as you have plenty of space, inside and out. Carl was very welcoming and most helpful with any questions about the housearea. So much thought has been put into this property, they have thought of everything, you could cook anything from a full 3 course meal to a cake all the equipment is there and more, there's even a cool box for a picnic. There are hairdryers plus plenty of fans in each room. The sound proofing is great as although it's on a busy road once inside you would never know as you cannot hear a thing. Communication from Carl was brilliant, we had no problems whilst there but he still got in touch just to update us about the gardener etc and we felt that he would of been on hand had we needed anything. We got intouch with him beforehand regarding certain allergies and he was so obliging and everything had been sorted prior to our arrival. There are plenty of games books dvds should you want them. Plus outside is beautiful with swingball, badminton and croquet. There is so much to do in york and all the surrounding areas and Whitby was a very pleasant surprise. What a stunning beach. We had a great stay, its a beautiful property which we didn't spend enough time in because of all things to do and see. We would not hesitate to return again.

We have just come back from Routhorpe House for our fabulous friends 40th birthday celebrations. Routhorpe House is beautiful. The location is perfect for Bridlington which we visited whilst we were there. The weather has been perfect too so were able to enjoy the grounds and the hot tub. Carl was really accommodating and always on hand to answer any questions we had with a quick response. We were also left a couple of chilled bottles of prosecco and complimentary tea and coffee which was a nice touch. My only criticism was we could have done with more bin liners as we were a large group but apart from that i could not fault the time we had a Routhorpe House. Will definitely recommend and definitely return.

The property was absolutely beautiful and perfect. We could not fault it. We had everything we needed and more. We loved that there was plenty of space outside for the kids to play. We used the badminton court. The kids loved the slide and swings. We had an amazing family holiday. We had days out in Bridlington, York and also took the kids to Flamingo Land. The owner was so friendly and really helpful. We did not want our time there to end and we hope to come back again.

Routhorpe House sits in a beautiful spot, close enough to the sea and yet quiet enough in the countryside. We were 3 generations travelling for a 60th birthday celebration and chose the house due to the reviews, pictures and its proximity to things we love Flamborough and Bridlington. The house served us well and had all the crockery and glasses you could need. The 2x bottles of prosecco were well received and the useful items of coffee, teabags, sugar and dish washer tablets. The lack of a communal toilet downstairs was a little inconvenient and the garden was not as neat as i had expected but i know it was early in the season for gardening! Please don't take this too personal Carl your home is wonderful but i feel compelled to critique since our aim was to have a garden party but rain decided otherwise! The host was accessible to all queries and feedback. We recommend the Georgian Tea Rooms for Afternoon Tea in Bridlington Old Town and the Seabirds in Flamborough for Sunday Dinner. Both very reasonably priced and great quality food. Do we recommend yes Will we be back yes.
