Rebecca
We had a wonderful stay at the Shepherds hut, it felt really private and peaceful. The hot tub was incredible! Although not shown on the photos, the kitchen area is equipped with the essentials so there's no need to bring anything. I would say it could be useful to have a shelf or 2 to put food on but it's not the end of the world. We didn't meet the owners as they were away at the time, but everyone we did meet was super friendly. We will certainly be back!
Fantastic little place everything you need. And hot tub with a view.Lots of things close by had an excellent time here.
Jennifer
Really lovely place, very private and clean
Had a lovely two night stay here this weekend, if you want time away from everything this is the place to go. Staff were friendly & helpful throughout our stay. Onsite butchers is an absolute must enough facilities to cook meals throughout your stay in the hut. We were lucky enough to have great weather which made for perfect star gazing in the hot tub. Gorgeous scenery & great walks available in the local area.
We wanted a place away from everything to be together and relax. The shepards hut was secluded, clean, comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. We used the kitchen to prepare all our meals. We used the log burner, which kept the hut lovely and warm. The hot tub was amazing!

Absolutely fantastic stay, really enjoyed our time at the shepherd hut. Everything was clean upon arrival and we had more or less everything we needed. It was initially quite cold and the fire, whilst nice, didn't kick out a tonnes of heat. Once we discovered the little space heater, it made controlling the inside temperature much easier! The oven was a little bit difficult to use but we only used it once or twice in our four night stay. Accessing the site was super easy and the taxi service got us from the train station to the farm very easily. It was a lovely walk down into town, although a bit of a slog walking back, still very much enjoyed it! We were apprehensive of the outside bathroom but found it to be really good. The hot tub was absolutely gorgeous both in the day and in the evening.
Omg we had an amazing stay in shepherd's hut. Was lovely watching the night stars in hot tub Food was amazing in tea rooms The owners was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble Looking forward to going again and seeing the new tearoom Well done to you and your team
Lauren
Shepherds hut was lovely and so was the hot tub but we did have a few hiccups along the way. The first was on arrival we went to the tearoom for the keys and we couldnt find anyone we shouted hello and had a walk around. Looked up the phone numbers that went to not available. After 50 mins of waiting we messaged the Facebook page then someone finally appeared. They showed us to our hut but couldnt show us anything as they said he dosent so that part and we figured the rest out for ourself. We did get a text of the owner later on apologising but for first impressions wasnt brill. Apart from that the hut was lovely and more spacious than expected and the views from the hot tub were brilliant.
Amazing location, best view from the hut and hot tub. Cant fault this place.
Just wonderful. Hot tub was amazing. Butchers was amazing. Views were amazing. Can't fault. Will defo be back
Debbie
Loved our stay at the Shepherds Hut. Bathing in the Hot Tub, looking at the stars on our wedding anniversary was idyllic. The position of the hut allows a beautiful view of the valley. Thank you.

This hut is absolutely gorgeous clean and comfortable. Sat in hot tub watching the sunset with a beer is absolutely amazing. Tea rooms and butchers on site so no need to leave. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
Easy checkin, comfortable facilities even in the small Shepherd's Hut, and the large alwayson hot tub with a view was outstanding! Would recommend buying a BBQ pack from the onsite butcher for use on the BBQ outside the hut, it was top notch meat.
If Im not picking there was no hot water in the bathroom sink but otherwise superb
Andrea
The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The hut is fully equipped, with fabulous views. I would recommend the hut to anybody and hope to go back in future.
Carole

Maureen

Alexander
Comfortable cabin with great views across the farm and the hot tub makes great evenings
Ellisha
What a fantastic little gem this place is. What a treat to stay on a beautiful family run farm and you have the luxury of a gorgeous view of the countryside. The hot tub is a huge selling point, its nice and private behind the shepherds hut and has the most serene view. They really have thought of everything and you can ask for anything should you require it. We took advantage of the onsite butchers and tea rooms, both very impressive, the produce was delicious! We cant wait to come back already!
Danielle
Lovely little getaway. We had rainy weather and the hot tub was still so worth it! So warm, bubbly and clean! And the fire makes it a snug little cabin. Its close to the tea rooms and butchers which is nice to get some food from, but still you have your own area and its completely private! Will be returning!
The hosts are on hand all the time. The tearoom provides excellent food 10am to 4pm. We had a hearty breakfast every day. It's a great spot for the views and for exploring the beaches and North York Moors.
Charis
Very cosy and lovely people. Highly recommend the farm cafe make sure you try the homemade scones!
Hannah
The Shepherds hut was much better than expected and a perfect break away from reality. The hut was cosy, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and approachable. I would definitely stay again.
