About Seascape Villa

Seascape Villa is a massive three-storey holiday home right in Filey's centre, North Yorkshire. This light, airy property offers seven bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms - perfect for big family gatherings where nobody wants to queue for the loo. Just a short stroll from sandy beaches, it's the ideal base for exploring this classic seaside town.

The property sits in the heart of Filey, with the beach just 0.5 miles away. Every bedroom has its own TV so you can escape the family chaos when needed. The huge kitchen-diner features a massive table where everyone can gather for meals or late-night wine sessions. After a day exploring the Yorkshire coast, soak in the hot tub while sipping something cold. That's what holidays are for, right?

Accommodation includes three super-king rooms (which can become twins if you're not that friendly), three king-size rooms and one adult bunk room. Most have walk-in showers, one has a bath and all have their own TVs. The kitchen is ridiculously well-equipped with two fridges, two dishwashers and a Smeg range cooker for showing off your culinary skills.

Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park is nearby for the animal lovers. Scarborough (7.7 miles, 15 minutes) offers traditional seaside fun with its castle and beaches. Bridlington (10.5 miles, 20 minutes) provides more beach options and the beautiful Sewerby Hall and Gardens. We had a really great family gettogether in Seascape Villa and very much enjoyed our stay. It's location is excellent as it is just short walk shops and to the gardens and then down onto the prom. One member of the group said it made his day to have an early morning walk beside the sea, before everyone else was up! The house was clean and has plenty of room for people to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and had a long table and two fridgefreezers and two dishwashers brilliant idea!. Beds bedrooms all clean and comfortable. As weather was a bit mixed also enjoyed the hot tub! Possibly ' end of season' niggles? Kitchen one dishwasher needed sorting as the sprayspinners were clogged and it didn't wash properly. A very greasy colander had been left in the pan drawer. Two hob rings on the left side of the cooker didn't work but we managed with the other four others. Both toasters only half working. Utensil drawer well hidden in pan drawer. A note would help new people but was a fun challenge for everyone once they arrived. First floor back bedroom No curtains only blinds. Reason? Top middle bedroom had a dripping toilet which drove the occupant mad and shower doors that didn't work so not useable. Parking for two cars but the posts are down broken and caused problems when parking as space is restricted and needed to run over posts to park. Must be a better way? Put a chain across? Hot tub lovely to use. Should remove item about dressing gowns from pictures as towels provided instead. Not a problem but inaccurate! Overall would be happy to return for another holiday!

We are a mixed group of friends with adults and children. The property was lovely, comfortable, spotless and very spacious. Great layout, good size rooms, great location. Appreciated the tea and biscuits!

Overall we had a lovely holiday with family. Unfortunately there were no scissors in the kitchen, tin opener was broken, toaster didn't work, one kettle didn't work, remote control in one room didn't work, t.v advertised for each bedroom, but 2 missing, one shower head floppy and no complimentary slippers for the hot tub as advertised. I did pass this information onto the owner. We also left behind the base for a milk frother. I've sent numerous emails, but nobody has had the decency to let me know.
