Absolutely loved our 4 nights stay at Owl View. The cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely to come back to after our days out exploring. Everything you could possibly need want was at hand. A lovely bottle of fizz and a bottle of milk was a lovely welcome gift too! We met the owner Martin who popped in to make sure everything was ok. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend!

Lovely clean house away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to civilisation to keep yourself amused and stocked up with food and drink. Great hot tub, great decor, all the mid cons and the warmest house I've ever been in. Martin is a very friendly owner and the milk and bubbly on arrival are nice touches. Dog friendly too. Filey dog fields were a godsend. Couldn't recommend enough.

Wonderful cottage in perfect location for a chilled out and relaxing break. Cottage was of a very high standard with all the amenities you could need and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day watching the sun go down, bliss! Highly recommend this cottage and especially to dog owners due to the perfectly enclosed garden and courtyard.

Fab Tvs and Internet worked well. Hot tub is amazing, so warm and wonderful this time of year when the air is cold. Oven, microwave, washer, dishwasher all Excellent. We were happy to stay in relaxing. Area is fab as isolated cottage.....without being isolated. So close to Filey, scarborough, cayton, shops etc. Thanks for the wonderful stay. We have stayed before and the accommodation is immaculate. However the reason for 3 and not 4 stars is that on Thursday afternoon th e owner came round to see if our stay had been good and advise they were draining the hot tub at 8.30am the following morning to allow time to get it ready for the next booking! When we went to use the hot tub on Thursday evening the temperature had been reduced and it was too cold for us to use I assume in preparation for the drainingWe then could not use the garden in the morning until after 9.15 when the draining was completed as someone was out there carrying out the drainage. We had to leave at 10am. We didnt have use of all the facilities for our holiday period and this was disappointing especially as we couldnt use the hot tub on Thursday. We absolutely love this accommodation and May rebook. It just felt that we should have had full use until the 10am we had paid for.

Absolutely lovely property, very warm and beautiful in a nice setting. Had a few issues with the WiFi which Martin the owner sorted out very quickly. We were provided with milk in the fridge and wine which was a lovely touch.

We were a family of 4 and three dogs. Owl View met all our needs and the enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. The property contained everything we needed, although secluded which suited us perfectly all amenities were close by. Great area to explore countryside and coast.

What an asolute wonderful place to stay. Nicely secluded. Close by to costal areas. Fully equipped property and just immaculately clean. Great walks with the dogs. I could not recommend this place highly enough and so pleased we managed to get in. I can fully understand why this place gets so booked up. Well maintained and an added bonus withe views and hot tub. Anyone staying here would not be disappointed.

Terri and Martin are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them pictures do not do this bungalow justice courtyard and garden are sun traps and the dogs loved it too so secure bungalow had everything you would need for a great break stress free easy to get filey. Our second visit to Owl View, with our 3 dogs. The cottage is fantastic, but a king size bed would make it even better. Cayton Bay beach is lovely for a morning walk. We visited Filey, Bridlington and Whitby. The hot tub was well used even though the weather wasnt that kind. We would recommend trying the fish and chip shop in Cayton, excellent. The owners are very approachable and available if required. The bottle of Prosecco was a very nice welcome gift.

This was our 2nd visit to owl view and once again it did not disappoint on anything except perhaps that we still didn't see the owl but that's nobody s fault was just as we remembered it from last time with a couple of extras we noticed which were the two lounger chairs in the back garden and a large potted plant in the lounge area.

I think I found my heaven . Owl view was everything I was looking for and more . Surrounded by fields for a quiet and peaceful relaxing holiday but only ten minutes away from the seaside town of Filey. Every dog friendly no escape for Henry my German shepherd. Courtyard to the front and grassed area to the back all walled and fenced off. Perfect .I will definitely be booking again for next year .

A lovely weeks' stay at Owl View. We have never booked through Skye's cottages before always using Hoeseasons for seeking out luxury hot tub lodges. We also always go to North Wales, so this was a first on accommodation and area. We were not disappointed. Owl View was immaculate and so noticeably clean when we arrived. Very comfortable with everything needed to make for a great stay. Our Jack Russell adored the underfloor heating as did we when we came back from cold walks. The hot tub was great and Martin was very responsive when we asked for the temperature to be increased slightly as the cold wind reduced the temperature quite quickly. Martin came out promptly and increased the temperature which made the hot tub just perfect. We loved Filey the local town, which is so dog friendly. We enjoyed Caton beach for walking the dog early mornings on a empty sandy beach. Can recommend walks to the lighthouse and from Cayton beach to Scarborough. A visit to Whitby is a must and not too far away. York is also worth the drive to visit particularly the Railway museum which surprised my husband and I on how much we enjoyed it. Overall can highly recommend Owl View, we want a return visit but as with other feedback comments, it is so popular it maybe that we cannot book to return until next year. I would highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay. Our second visit and returning in May for our third. Uilra secure garden and front yard for our dog. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. However be warned if bringing your pooch to avoid fireworks. We thought would be remote enough and we were wrong. This no way reflects on owners or property, our mistake. Just a warning for others.

Fantastic, very private property, with glorious views and first class facilities. Owners very approachable. Perfect for our 3 dogs, either a large paved area at the front or grassed area at the back. Garden seating at both front and back. Hot tub is well maintained and lovely to relax in to watch the amazing sunsets. Walked every morning on Cayton Beach which is only 2 minutes away and dog friendly, worth the steep climb up and down. Robin Hood's Bay, Filey, Flamborough and Old Town Bridlington are all worth visiting. Can't recommend Owl View enough, already booked for next year and we have never visited a property twice.
