Station House is a huge five-floor holiday home in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. This former railway building now offers luxury accommodation for up to 14 guests with incredible comfort and space. It's perfectly positioned in the heart of this classic seaside town, just 0.4 miles from shops and a stone's throw from the nearest pub.

The location is spot on for exploring everything Scarborough has to offer. The gorgeous beaches are minutes away, with both North and South Bay offering different vibes. Scarborough Castle looms above the town, providing spectacular views across the coastline. Everything's walkable - no need to fight for parking or deal with the kids asking "are we there yet?" every five minutes.

The accommodation spans five floors with seven bedrooms, including two ground-floor super king-size rooms that can be configured as twins. Four bedrooms boast en-suite shower rooms, plus there's a bathroom with a roll-top bath. The lower ground floor features a kitchen/diner, sitting room, utility room and cloakroom. This was a lovely townhouse in a good location for the railway station, spa area and museum. The rooms are spacious and the lounge and dining area perfect for our gathering.

Lovely property renovated to a high standard, The water in showers is really hot or very cold no in between, the sensory light at top of house, can be disturbing when trying to sleep while people are still Moving around in lower landing . During the night you do get the through night noise if sleeping at front of house, cant be helped though, nothing ear plugs & eye masks cant sort. The house is spotless clean, Beds are the best Ive ever slept in, Communication with owner was excellent Hot tub, dish washer and parking is a bonus Perfect central Location for everything really Great to find a property that could accommodate all 14 of our family together Thank you , very enjoyable stay

What an amazing house. I booked this for my mums 80th birthday with the family , was 13 adults and 1 child . Plenty of space for everyone. The parking was great we managed to get 5 cars on the drive . The house was very clean and very well equipped. Jamie was very helpful. Will definitely recommend this house .

Really lovely home. Big rooms where everyone had plenty of space. I loved that we could all sit together around the kitchen table to eat as well as all fit in the living room to watch tv. The beds were very comfy. It was noisy at the front with the traffic and the windows could do with some good black out blinds. There are lots of steps to the top bedrooms so you need to make sure everyone is mobile. Location was great for getting into town or down to South Beach. Jamie was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay Jaime was always available and very helpful. House had everything we needed and more. Very clean and very comfortable beds. Could maybe do with room number or something on the bedroom doors to set them apart a bit with so many floors was easy to get confused and walk into someone elses room

Very spacious house so perfect for large groups. Lovely and clean throughout. Well equipped kitchen, and plenty of hot water. Large bedrooms so lots of space for couples. Private parking to the rear of the house easily fitted our 9 motorcycles within the gated area. Location is perfect for a stroll into town. Sainsbury's very close and also Tesco, not to mention Wetherspoons and the best Indian Restaurant we have ever found called The Taj. Private area should you want to relax in the hot tub and plenty of seating in the lounge. We were surprised by a very generous complimentary basket of goodies when we arrived. A really well thought out property, a credit to the owner.

Station House is within a short walking distance to shops, pubs, supermarkets, bus stops and the train station. It is a 1520 minute walk to South Bay. The house was clean, beds very comfortable and the welcome pack was great. Everything you need for a holiday is in the house the only improvements that could be made are coat hooks are needed on the lower floor. An extra fridge rather than an extra freezer. A washing up bowl is needed! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend booking Station House, we would book again.

The house itself was lovely, very comfortable & had everything we needed & we received a lovely hamper. If I had to have a moan it would be the beds. I'm glad I didn't look at the mattress & the so called protector before I slept in it or I wouldn't have slept in it at all. New mattresses & it would be brilliant.

Loved our stay here in August. The house is amazing, stayed with 10 adults 4 kids and 2 toddlers, bedrooms are very spacious, kitchendining room great for family meals and game nights. Living room was lovely and cosy for family movie nights. Lots to do and see nearby. Short walk from shopspub. The owner was very thoughtful and left us a welcome hamper which was enjoyed by all, he was also very friendly and accommodating when contacted about arrival instructions and bed lay out. Would highly recommend this house to family and friends and hope to stay again in the future.

Second stay at this property with a group of friends. This is a lovely house, modern, clean and spacious. Bedrooms are large and beds comfortable. Warm and cosy, the ideal get away with family or friends. Great location close to shops and beach front. No bedrooms on the ground floor so best to keep in mind if travelling with anyone with mobility problems. Bedrooms over 3 floors. Would highly recommend.

The property was lovely! The beds were the most comfortable we had slept in! It was great to have control of the heating and the hot tub was a big hit! An extra set of keys would have been useful and we were disappointed not to be able to recycle but overall we were very happy with the property.

Great place, I absolutely loved it Just may need coat hangers as nowhere to put them . When wet as well. Need mats in all showers and the bath as very slippy without, especially when they have people with disabilities. The stools by the middle sink need a good wash clean as lots of stains. Also new trays for cooking needed and frying pans. Just a few thing that could help make it better that's all. But overall we all loved the place Thank you and thank you for the lovely hamper.

Thank you for the welcome pack. It was very comprehensive. The house was lovely and we enjoyed looking at the photographs of the refurbishment. Everyone said their beds were comfy. Location was very central. the bedrooms on the front of the house being on the main road, were noisy compared to the back. Earplugs had to be purchased for the second night as it was warm and we needed the windows open which didnt help. The other thing that affected sleep quality was just having blinds and no curtains meant there was a lot of light. Luckily I had taken my eye mask. Perhaps this is something you could provide? The kitchen was well stocked with plenty cups, glasses, plates etc. Our group tended to congregate in the kitchen dining area I imagine other holidaymakers did too as the barstools and seatpads on the dining chairs were really grubby and stained. They really let the house down. Bathrooms were clean and towels aplenty and nice quality. One observation was the bath tub could do with a grab rail and a non slip mat. Final observation is having only one set of keys and no doorbell proved problematic at times! Overall we had a really good time and the hot tub was a nice touch.

The house was amazing and well equipped. It catered for all and we were a party of 12 ranging from 3yrs to 71. The only thing we would recommend is curtains in the bedrooms as the light woke the young ones up otherwise perfect. Would recommend to others.

We had a lovely week at Station House. This was our second stay there as a family 8 adults, 5 children, and if anything was even better than last years. The house is tastefully decorated, well equipped with everything you could need, and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are spacious and bright, the beds comfortable, theres plenty of room for 14 people to eat together and to socialise in the evening, and the little games area with beanbags by the stairs was particularly wellused by the boys! Nice to have the hot tub as well. Its so handy for the SJT and the station, within a decent walking distance of both shores and the town centre, and there are three large supermarkets close by. All in all a perfect base for a Scarborough break. We had good communication from the owner, Jaime, and knew that any problem would have been quickly sorted. We also appreciated the generous welcome pack. Perhaps we should be thinking about next year..?!

Really great, thank you. A beautiful property, well considered, spacious, great location and parking, would come back again for sure! The welcome hamper was a great touch too! 910 Helpful points below Shower in one of the bedrooms only ran boiling hot water broken knob?, which was a bit of a problem. The mattresses for the cots were too thin to let our babies sleep on them for the night, so we had to go out and buy a mattress each which was unnecessary as we had travel mattresses at home, if only we knew. A few black bin bags would have been handy. Something to differentiate between the 3rd and 4th floor, I kept walking into a friends room, yet I was the floor above. The rooms could have done with curtains to keep the light out, but Im a light sleeper and things like this wake me up.

Just a few more kitchen items would make the place perfect a few extra plates and cutlery. Plenty of mugs though which was nice. The extra freezer could be a fridge freezer, food for 14 is difficult to fit in one fridge. Welcome hamper is a nice touch and the cleanliness of the place was second to none. Overall it was a pleasure staying at station house facilitiesareacomfortable the only thing I would say is it needs painting as some walls marked etc to give it back the WOW factor! It needs an extra fridge a separate dryer as the current washer dryer is rubbish! Lastly the locked gate needs sorting not ideal when locking as not correctly fitted lock I broke my nail one day which wasnt a good experience and te men folk struggled as was very difficult All in all we want to book again hopefully Thankyou I had a cracking birthday holiday Nicola Crisp

The house is amazing, ideal for the whole family. It was very clean and very well stocked with towels, hand soap, all kitchen facilities together with a lovely food hamper on arrival. Location is great with only a 15min walk to the front and most activitiesattractions are walking distance. The only negative, the hot tub area, the description of outside furniture. The furniture consisted of 4 metal chairs with a plastic seat not really in keeping with the rest of the house. We had a brilliant holiday, thank you
