We had a wonderful stay. Everything is there that you need tea coffee and biscuits. Lots of utensils. The only thing for our stay is the bed was far too soft. I know its a preference but with bad backs not good for us. The setting itself you cant fault. The nearby pub was very friendly.

An absolute gem of a property! Perfectly situated and a real home from home. Will definitely be returning.

The property itself was fantastic. The only issue is the hot tub did not stay hot. Dropping from 37c to 34c in about 40 mins which was too cold and then took ages to heat back up.

What a gem with the added attraction of a state of the art hot tub. A very private clean site with space between the beautiful lodges. Fully equipped for a stress free break. A beautiful pub only a 3 miniute walk away along with Whitby park n ride opens March Whitby is a very short drive. Lodge looked over fields and site has peacocks and horses. I cant recommend this place highly enough

Lovely way to spend my 6oth Birthday. Warm and comfortable lodge and amazing hot tub. Ideally situated for Whitby, shame the park and ride was closed but understand given it was out of season. Great food nearby at the Stables. Would definitely return.

Amazing facilities and very beautiful and clean.

We had a lovely stay at Aspen Lodge. The Lodge is furnished to a high standard and feels spacious but cosy. The hot tub is huge and a great addition. We stayed in December and the central heating worked really well and kept the Lodge warm in all hours. It would have been useful to see a site map so we could have chosen a Lodge based on location on the site. This would be particularly useful in the summer months so people can choose a Lodge based on preference for the porch to face the sun or not ours was sadly in shade all day whilst other empty ones were bathed in sunlight!. Some hooks on the back of all doors would be helpful for hanging towels after the hot tub shower. We stayed during a couple of really windy nights and the fan in the bathroom was really noisy blowing open not sure this can be helped though! As a coffee drinker it would be useful to add to the amenities that there's a cafetiere so guests know what coffee to bring. We really enjoyed our stay and will return!

We stayed at Aspen Lodge for 6 nights this October. From the moment we arrived to when we left this lodge felt like a home away from a home, there was every utensil and piece of cutlery you could possible need for a self catering holiday. The bedrooms are a really good size and the bed were super comfy and warm. All areas of the Lodge were clean and spacious making this stay absolutely incredible. Lastly the hot tub was beautiful to sit and relax in especially after long days of walking the location is perfect being close to 2 beachs and the large spacious areas with the lodge park. Overall we can't wait to come back to Aspen Lodge again soon.

Lovely stay at Aspen Lodge. Surroundings were stunning, morning visits from the resident Peacocks were fun. Would highly recommend the Stables restaurant, great food and atmosphere. Ideal location for seeing the local attractions. Lodge needs a few extra details, ,no oven gloves provided, cooker had one ring not working properly at the back. And the kitchen tap was abit wobbly. Hot tub was amazing after a day's exploring just what we needed. All in all a lovely week away.

Absolutely amazing stay, we loved it so much before we left we even booked to return again in October, would highly recommend, very spacious lovely views and location, park and ride just across the road and takes 5 mins to get into town and very cheap 2 I wouldnt mark it down based on this but suggestions to improve even more would be to provide a brush or hoover and mop so it can be left in the condition you arrive and also after hot tub mop wud be handy also, i would also recommend a clothes horse to help dry clothes on decking and maybe just 1 extra bin bag, would also recommend a door protector of some sort on the double doors glass to protect the property as if not latched and the wind catches it could cause damage id like to note non of the above effected our stay purely recommendations to make a great stay even better

Beautiful Lodge with fantastic views. V ery clean upon arrivel. Stayed for a week so could do with a dust pan, brush or a hoover in the Lodge. Also went as a family and would be nice if they had a small play area and or mini golf on the site for the kids. Well positioned site, which is a 5 minute walk to the park and ride to Whitby. Highly recommend.

We loved stag lodge's the park n ride across the rd was ideal as parking in town is difficult everything was near the pub restaurant on site have a great menu from bfast to Sunday lunch . It was easy to find there was everything we needed it was very peaceful and quiet would definitely recommend our 2 little shitzus loved it too they were allowed in the restaurant and in most places in whitby town there is plenty grass to walk them on site

Stayed Friday to Monday, everything was perfect cannot think of anything to complain about which is so good to say. We took my 87 year old dad and he absolutely loved it. Short walk to the Stables pub which was beautiful and served lovely food. Also a very short walk to the park and ride which saves you looking for a parking space in Whitby. Lodge had everything you could wish for, kitchen facilities great, shower and bathrooms spot on and beds so comfy. We took our dog and it was great that she could sit out on the veranda and chill without worrying about her escaping.

Aspen lodge was lovely set within a very clean maintained site with lovely views over fields perfect for us and our pet the lodge and hot tub was very clean and welcoming and would definitely recommend it has all the coastal beaches on the door step a pub set in nice grounds with peacocks a stones throw away the fish cottage take away and restaurant in sandsend is really good. We had a very peaceful break and will definitely be returning the only very small point I would like to make which I did mention to the owner Caroline who was very nice to talk to is the need for a brush and pan and mop that is only because we found it in a very good condition and wanted to leave that way we did read an earlier review about this so brought our own so with a pet and all the grass areas that had been cut it was needed. Thank you for a very pleasing time in a wonderful lodge.

My family and I had a great time at Aspen Lodge. It was perfect for everythinglocation, cleanliness, comfort, facilities, ambience, prompt response from the owner when we had questions, and everything we needed. Shops, church, seaside and restaurants were within a 510 mins drive, so relaxation was really convenient. Would definitely come back and recommend it to family and friends

Really nice cabin. Clean, comfortable and the hot tub was great. It's really close to whitby and just next door to the park and ride, too. The onsite pub did really good food and were great with dogs.

We had to clean the utensils plates etc as they had food marks on them and glasses were not clean. TV guide did not work despite trying to tune the tv in so had to project my sky plus. Needs more refinement like champagne glasses, better milk and a coffee machine like most others provide these days. Privacy around hot tub could be greatly improved and the outside expel air covers need to be replaced with insect fixed grid rather than the flap vents as they bang with the wind. Front door had to be slammed to shut.

Superb location and amazing lodge. Will definitely be coming again. Location, means you are only 5 to 10 mins away from Whitby and Sandsend, therefore getting to these locations is easy. The nearby pub is within a stones throw, so lots of lovely food and drinks within easy reach. Only complaint and it might seem a little strange, but a vacuum cleaner would be a real benefit as we always like to leave the lodge as we found it, and we felt guilty that we couldnt do a thorough job.

Maybe the owner may consider a dog run there is enough land for one. Overall a lovely place will definitely return . would recommend to all 5 star

This is a beautiful lodge spotlessly clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Perfect area and close to many places to visit. Very quiet and peaceful. We reported a couple of issues which were acted upon immediately. Just a few things which would make an improvement a small hoover carpet sweeper and some oven gloves please! Thanks
